Job Description:
Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a consultancy project funded by ZF Commercial Vehicle Control systems India Ltd, Chennai, India to the School of Electrical engineering (SELECT) and Automotive Research Centre (ARC), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, T.N, India.
Project Title: “Design and development of smart inverter for PM Synchronous motor-based Air-compressor for EV application”
Sponsoring Agency: ZF Commercial Vehicle Control systems India Ltd, Chennai, India
Duration: 6 months ( Initially 6 months but likely to be extended up to one year based on the extension of the project)
Qualification: M.E./M.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering/ Power Electronics & Drives/ Control Automation/ Embedded systems/Electric vehicles and its related disciplines.
Desirable: Candidates have knowledge in the design and development of power converters, thermal analysis of power converters, DSP/FPGA programming for power converters and PMSM drives, and Vibration analysis of motor drives. Experience in code generation using DSP/FPGA boards will be preferred.
Stipend: Rs. 31,000/- per month
